A Framework Agreement has been signed to establish a new corporation for nation-wide geothermal development in China between Sinopec Star Petroleum Company and Geysir Green Energy / Enex Kina.

Magma Energy Sweden AB, a fully owned subsidiary of the Canadian geothermal company Magma Energy Corp.(TSX : MXY), and Geysir Green Energy have reached an agreement to the affect that Magma will acquire all of GGE's shares in HS Orka. -
Magma Energy og Geysir Green Energy hafa náð samkomulagi um að Magma kaupi öll hlutabréf Geysis í HS Orku og verður Magma þar með aðaleigandi félagsins. Kaupverðið er um 16 milljarðar króna.

Iceland's Ambassador to China, Mrs. Kristin A. Arnadottir, along with executives of the Icelandic geothermal company Enex China, met with government officials in Shaanxi and Hebei Provinces and paid a visit to geothermal district heating facilities owned by SGE, a JV of Enex China and Chinese corporation Sinopec Star.
